VAGNELINDs story behind the fictive portrait MINOU: The name “Minou” means “cat”. The symbolism of a cat includes elegance, curiosity, independence, magic, and rebirth, because of their nine lives. Minou sees herself reflected in animals more than humans. Of course, she has a lot of integrity and endures through everything. She has the ability to sense things that we humans often fail to notice.

Certificate of Authenticity: The art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Signature: Signed by the artist VAGNELIND.

VAGNELIND
VAGNELIND captures human presence through broad brushstrokes, thick layers of oil paint and large-scale compositions. Her paintings are physical, raw and intuitive — a constant shift between the explosive and the concentrated.

VAGNELIND studied Fine Art in Australia and has lived in the USA and China — experiences that have brought an international pulse to her work.

She is featured in a 2026 European documentary series on ARTE and ZDF, following her artistic practice from the studio to ICEHOTEL — from oil paint to ice, chainsaws and cold-water immersion. She is also the author of KALLA BAD, published by Bonnier Fakta.
