VAGNELINDs story behind the fictive portrait FALA: The name Fala comes from her Native American ancestry and means ‘crow’. Her grandma taught her that the crow is a symbol of creation, spiritual strength and intelligence: “Wherever crows are, there is magic”. The crow awakens her soul’s true purpose and reminds her to follow her heart and life’s mission. It is guiding her forward, giving her advice and teaching her to find a balance between her intellect and her heart. It shares wisdom and inspires her to keep learning new things. Fala is a strong woman, often dressed in a suit. However, she is also a reserved, lone wolf and needs time alone to recharge. She prefers to walk barefoot, to find her grounding, make her intentions stronger. It gives her the ability to stay down-to-earth.
Handwritten on the reverse canvas: The story is handwritten by the artist to share her thoughts abut the fictive person. Even location and date when the work of art was made is written on reverse.
